The simulation of spatially unsteady seismic ground motion

WAWS is utilized to simulate the variable seismic acceleration time history.By use of the FFT technique,the efficiency of simulation is improved greatly.The power spectrum adopted in this paper,which covers not only the traveling wave effect,but also the spatial coherence of the seismic ground motion,has general representation.
