A service system for traffic information inquiry based on SMS

This paper introduces the service system for traffic information inquiry based on SMS,so as to enhance the present inquiring system(such as GPS),and to solve the problems of its popularity.It contains the technique of the LBS(Location Based System),short-message platform technique,mobile mapping service,etc.A driver with a mobile phone can inquiry the information,such as traffic conditions,weather report,restaurants,entertainments,hospitals,help and alarms at anytime and any place.
