Design of 20-order multiplier using step recovery diode based on ADS

Step recovery diodes are usually used for designing single-step,high-order frequency multiplier.This paper designed a 20-order multiplier using the non-linear characteristic of step recovery diode.The input signal is100MHz,the output signal is 2GHz.The actual design of multiplier included the designs of comb generator,resonator and a bandpass filter with 80MHz bandwidth and 1.96GHz～2.04GHz passband.First the initial value is obtained by theoretical computing,and then the final initial results are obtained using ADS software.
