The establishment of an atmosphere-wave-ocean circulation coupled numerical model and its application in the North Pacific SST simulation

Based on the surface wave-circulation coupled theory,the MASNUM atmosphere-wave-ocean circulation coupled model was established,which incorporates the MASNUM wave number spectral model and the coupled ocean-atmosphere general circulation model,FGCM-0.The model is applied to simulate the North Pacific SST.Compared with FGCM-0 simulation,the results indicate that the MASNUM atmosphere-wave-ocean circulation coupled model can much improve the numerical simulation of the North Pacific SST.
