The harm of lightning to weak current equipment and the lightning protection design for weak current system were introduced. Taking a specific lightning protection case of a school as an example, the lightning protection and grounding measures of power system and signal system were introduced. After adopting effective lightning protection measures,the obvious effect was obtained and also the better economic and social benefits.
