Dose Calculation of Radiotherapy Based on 3D CT Data

A Monte Carlo dose calculation method of radiotherapy was introduced based on CT image using DPM (dose planning method). DPM was rewritten based on Monte Carlo method to calculate dose for real patient CT data. A new fast algorithm was proposed for CT number to mass density calibration by employing neural networks. Dose calculation visualization results are shown by 2D and 3D curves. It is a hopeful research project. This way permits us to obtain quick and accurate results and get evident visible results. The results show that this method is correct and effective and is capable of enhancing the level of radiotherapy.
