Computer-based Description of the Chemical Structure

The application of the computer in the field of the chemistry, which accelerates the development of the chemistry, provides more advanced methods and means for the chemical research. This paper briefly introduces the computer-based description of the chemical structure, including the systematical nomenclature, the fragment code, the linear code, the topological code, the linked list, and the nonclassical method, etc., discusses on their own features, limitations and different field of application.
