The Implementation of Feed-forward Control in Purchase Link and the Transformation of Inventory Control

In order to adapt to the inventory management strategy and to ensure the change in inventory situation of low production supplies,the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Platform provided by Guohua Power was utilized by Sanhe Power Plant of Guohua,Shenhua.The establishment of Vendor Management Inventory (VMI),direct purchasing passageway for goods and material of high purchasing frequency and the utilization of SCM system standard goods material code to automatic self-balanced warehouse decreased the inventory as well as prevent the repeat purchasing.The method effectively resolved the relations between purchasing and inventory and prospectively structured the scientific management system of feed-forward control as well as achieved a continuous improvement of inventory character.
