Blind Estimation for Spread Spectrum Codes of PLC DSSS Signals Based on Fast-ICA

Based on the analysis of the virtual multiuser model for PLC DSSS signals,a new model is proposed. This model is applicable for PLC DSSS signals after symbol synchronization but also for PLC DSSS signals before symbol synchronization. On this basis,a method for blind synchronization and blind estimation for spread spectrum codes based on Fast-ICA is presented. Mathematic analysis and simulation results demonstrate the validity of the method.
