Study and Implementation of Qualitative Compositional Modeling Technology

Aiming at solving the bottleneck of qualitative reasoning’s application, automated modeling, as a new development direction of QR, is trying to find the methods to construct qualitative model automatically. The idea of object- oriented compositional modeling was proposed while modeling knowledge was represented by “objects”. Based on hierarchical description mechanics of modeling assumption, the framework of model fragment library was built. As for implementation, the relevance-based compositional modeling algorithms were proposed. The frame model of compositional modeling and simulation was given, and the implantation of this procedure was illustrated by some snapshot windows.
