Comprehensive technology of protection against lightning damage shall be implemented through equipotential bonding of buildings′ metal structures, reasonable layout of lightning protection facilities, Proper shielding, equipotential bonding of all metalwork, reliable earth system, and rational installation of surge protective device in lines of power supply and electronic devices. An ideal protection effect against lightning can be reached only if the above-mentioned technology is applied comprehensively.
