An X-band Sampling Phase-locked Synthesizer——PDRO

The operation principle and technical features of a sampling phase-locked synthesizes are described in this paper.The low phase-noise and spurious features are especially analyzed, and the contribution of loop filter and loop capturing to stabilization of loop is emphasized.Finally the typical specification and performance of the X-band sampling phase-looked synthesizer is provided.
