An Universal MMSE Software Synchronized Algorithm

Synchronization(symbol timing recovery) is a very important factor in software radio.A base band synchronized method based on MMSE criterion which can be used in MFSK,MDPSK even though QAM is presented.It chooses the sampling points with least mean square errors of demodulation as the optimum ones to make decisions.The demodulation error is used to adjust the decision point,consuming less resources of DSP.The algorithm is more practical and universal.The results of simulation indicated that the algorithm can satisfy the essential demands of practical communication systems.
