Research on the Key Technology of Cognitive Radio

Cognitive radio is viewed as a novel approach that can change its transmitter parameters based on interaction with the environment where it operates and can also improve its spectrum access and efficiency.In this paper,the significance of cognitive radio is first analyzed,and then this paper describes the definition and concept models of cognitive radio,discusses its characteristics and performance assessing parameters,including such key issues as interference temperature,spectrum pooling and sharing,and dynamic spectrum management.Finally,the future of cognitive radio is forecasted.
