Direction-of-Arrival Estimation Based on Blind Source Separation

A novel method based on JADE algorithm is proposed to estimate the DOAs.In the method,the array manifold is estimated by the JADE algorithm,and the DOA estimation,while realized by the spectral analysis method,while the steering vector in this array manifold is regarded as a linear combination of multiple compound sinusoids.Then,based on this method,the DOA estimation and the corresponding signals of targets are calculated.Experimental results show that this method is superior to the multiple signal classification (MUSIC) method for realizing the same resolution at the same situation.Moreover,it also could identify the coherent signals.
