The distribution patterns of Artemisia halodendron in shigting, semi fixed and fixed sandland types have been obtained based on the interpolation method of 2 dimensional net function, with which the fractal dimension and lacunarity index of Atremisia halodendron patches at the same scale are analyzed. The results show that Artemisia halodendron population appear cybotactic distribution and the complication of patches is very high in shifting sandland; the distribution is also cybotactic in semi fixed desert, but it is more even than that in shifting sandland; the distribution is random in fixed sandland, and the complication of Artemisia halodendron patches is very low.
