Design and Implementation of All-digital 16QAM Demodulator

QAM is widely used as an effective transmission method.AGC loop,tim ing loop,carrier loop and orthogonal DFE are the important parts for the implementation of 16QAM demodulator,their principles are introduced in detail,and the implementation of each part is analyzed with respect to hardware.Matlab is used for fixed-point simulation.Software of Verilog is used for the software design of the demodulator.Finally,the FPGA chip used for hardware implementation is introduced,and the eye pattern after demodulation shows good results.
