By using the method of documentary, expert interview and questionnaire, this paper puts forwards the construction of evaluation system of general ability for the coaches in excellent volleyball team of China. By using the method of Saaty's relevant significant degree, the writer confirms all the evaluation indexes. Thus evaluation system of general ability for the coaches of excellent volleyball team was build up. This research will provide reference for sports management department to evaluate general ability of coaches in excellent volleyball team scientifically, reasonably.
