In this paper,the author introduces the basic principle of transfoming Reltek 8139 NIC into hard disk reducing card and elaborates the method and process of transforming Reltek8139 NIC into hard disk reducing card in detail through an example.Transforming Rectek 8139 NIC into hard disk reducing card makes it possible for Reltek 8139 NIC to possess both functions of NIC and hard disk reducing card.Transforming NIC into reducing card can not only improve the security of computer but also is of great economic value.
