A new generation correcting-code technique—Turbo codes

A new generation of correcting-code-Turbo code is introduced in this paper.The key techniques that affect the coding performance based on the coding structure are analyzed.Meanwhile,the combination of Turbo with TCM and equalization technique and their applications are analyzed.Finally,the application of Turbo code in practical systems is discussed.
