Application of improved genetic algorithm to grid task scheduling

To improve the searching performance for genetic algorithm, and optimize the grid resources allocation,an improved genetic algorithm with filtrating is presented to the optimization of grid task scheduling problems.By utilizing this algorithm, shorter execution time and better performance of load balancing can be gained via the simulation studies, especially in grid scheduling envi-ronments.
