The paper introduced a real-time vacuum control system which is based on multilayer Web architecture for HIRFL-CSR(Heavy Ion Research Facility of Lanzhou Cooler Storage Ring) project in Lanzhou.It analyzed the redundancy of applications based on Distributed Control System Architecture.Failover is designed for use as on-line control applications in hazardous environments requiring fail-safe performance.The system has the characteristics of strong adaptability and flexibility,good stability and high reliability.
