A Transcoding Scheme on Parameter Layer from AMR to G.729

The similarities and differences between AMR and G.729 codec are analyzed.A Scheme is then proposed to transcode from AMR to G.729 on parameter layer directly.Compared with traditional transcoding schemes,at the cost of tolerable loss in speech quality,it reduces the algorithm complexity remarkably.
