Genetic Algorithm Analysis on Global Stability of Landslide and Its Application

Genetic algorithm is a kind of fully optimized algorithm to simulate the process of biological evolution.The landslide global stability analysis is based on genetic algorithm,in which landslide stability coefficients are taken as the objective functions;N slides of slope are selected stochastically as initial population,and center coordinates and radius of the slide are taken as variants to simulate the process of biological evolution.The slide with minimum stability coefficients is searched out by the survival of the fittest mechanism.This method is used to analyze the global stability of Simianshan landslide and has confirmed its higher reliability in analyzing the complex anisotropic slide by contrasting with the values got by transfer coefficients method.
