Improvement of TCP-Veno over Hybrid Wired/Wireless Network

TCP-Veno,which inherited from TCP-Vegas,has been made a lot of improvements over traditional TCP protocol when used in the networks include wireless links. But the same with Vegas, the minimum round-trip delay(BaseRTT) is still difficult to estimate accurately in Veno, resulting in the performance degradation of Veno,in addition Veno can not adapted to sudden network traffic well.Proposes an improved algorithm named TCP Veno +.The algorithm improves the AIMD algorithm of TCP-Veno in delay and throughput to resolve the two problems mentioned above. The simulation result shows that the improved algorithm obtains good performance in hybrid wired/wireless networks, especially when the error rate is high.
