Study on Topic Tracking

This paper introduces topic detection and tracking evaluation methods, discusses the research background and research status of topic tracking, analyzes the related basic concepts topic of topic tracking, summarizes the methods that are commonly used by the key technology for topic/reports representation and topic tracking and compares the advantages and disadvantages of these methods, has found wide applications and high academic value of topic tracking, and propose future research of topic tracking to pay attention to the characteristics of the topic itself, Such as small-scale corpus and time characteristics.
