The traditional voltage reactive control based on fuzzy logic control(FLC) is analyzed firstly. In order to deal with the fuzzy control's bottleneck problem, the rough set is introduced.Furthermore, the complementarity between fuzzy set and rough set is discussed;and a method to combine the two theories to improve the reactive-voltage control is presented.Meanwhile,a design example of voltage reactive control based on fuzzy-rough strategy is presented;and Matlab is used to simulate and analyze it on the condition of variable loads. The simulation results show that the presented strategy can improve the power factor and performance of FLC,and is more suitable in practice.
