Study on co-fire combustion performance of biomass with coal

The TG- DTG thermalanalysis technology was applied to study the co- fire combustion characteristics of bio-mass with coal. Combustion characteristics of them were analyzed according to combustion characteristics parameters such as ignition temperature; maximum rate of combustion and burnout temperature etc. Ignition parameters and combustibility parameters were calculated. It shows that the ignition temperature of biomasses are two phases between 250 -350℃and 350-450℃; The combustion performances of biomass are near and the structures are similar. The combustibility performances parameters are higher than the coal' s; it reduced the ignition temperature and improved the combustion performances of co-fire combustion characteristics of biomass with coal.
