The Mbone technique is a kind of virtual network system on the Internet, and the Multicast mechanism is realized by it on the Internet. The appearance of the Mbone technique is considered as a revolution on the Internet. In this paper, the development history, basie concept, basie principle and appiications in our country of the Mbone nelwork technique are introduced.
