The application of distributed object technology makes it necessary to guide the developmant, of telecom management system with an entirely new viewpoint Based on DOT, the ODP standard can be combined with the TMN thoughts so that the real open management software can be achieved after introducing the aim, frame and disadvantages of TMN,the article provides information about ODP technology and makes a preliminary research as to the combination of TMN and ODP.
