Function of membership grade used for fault diagnosis of electric locomotives

A method to get the function of grade of membership is studied in this paper while FNN(Fuzzy NeuralNetwork) is applied in on-line fault diagnosis system of electric locomotive. Considering with the specialty of electric locomotive,the rules and characteristics of the control are analyzed. A doable means to find the vectors of grade of membership is brought forward. One trouble of the application of FNN to the fault diagnosis of electric locomotive is solved.
