Improvement of Fixed Frequency Sine Signal Generator by DDS

An improvement to the traditional Direct Digital Synthesizer is introduced.Through analyzing the traditional implement method,the phase(error is) introduced by the quantization error of the frequency control word is put forward.The cause of the phase(error) is analyzed through which we can find that the traditional method is not universal and a technique to solve the problem is provided.The simulation results are given.Through comparing the two results,the improvement is clearly shown.The improvement efficiently(eliminates) the quantitative error of the frequency control word,simplifies the control of DDS,decreases the required source to implement DDS.Because of the advantages,the method decreases the time to design DDS,simplifies the system design workload.
