Research on automatic programming system of numerical control cutting plotter based on digital image

The key technologies of the automatic programming system of the numerical control cutting plotter are studied,and moreover,the realization methods are presented.In this system,the input is a scanning image of the pattern.Then the image noise is removed by the mathematical morphology,and the contour of the image is obtained through chain-code tracking.In the end,the subsection fitting method is used to vector the image,thereby the numerical control code is automatically generated according to the vectorgraph.The experiment results show that the system can automatically generate the numerical control code according to the digital image of the pattern.The effect is all right.
