On the Duality Theory of Syntactic Structure

Grammatical structure and semantic structure coexist in combined syntactic structure of notional words and notional phrases, hence notional words in a sentence has both grammatical and semantic functions. This duality makes the declarative function of a sentence in meaning more complete.
