Generation mechanism and fault feature of oil whirl and oil whip for rotor system are introduced in this paper.Vibration signal got from lifting speed process of rotor text bed is analyzed,and generation process of oil whirl and oil whip is revealed.Typical oil whirl signal and typical oil whip signal are analyzed with time-frequency analysis,and fault features of oil whirl and whip are also revealed.
