Design and implementation of rural land use management information system based on GIS

Land resource is limited and how to utilize and manage it scientifically is vital important to the surviving of human being. The paper presents a design method of the rural land use MIS based on GIS of Dongzhou district in Fushun city according to the properties and management requirements of data information in a county area. It introduces the general structure and the design ideology of the system and also explains the functions of each subsystem and its technical implementations.
