The probability density function of tracking error was studied; and through optimal control, the optimal probability density distribution was given to establish performance assessment index. In order to obtain the closeness between current probability density function and standard probability density function, the function of tracking error was vectorized and then having performance assessment index established through grey correlation analysis, including the general steps of performance assessment. The simulation and comparison results verify the effectiveness of this assessment method.
