Building P2P Systems based on Tapestry Overlay

Tapestry is a P2P overlay network infrastructure based on D istributed Hash Table, which can provide wide-area Location and Routing and can route directly to the nearest copy of a resource or object without central media. It also possesses good properties such as self-orga nizing, fault-tolerance, load-balancing and so on. In this article, the tapestry overlay is introduced at first, then the common pattern of applications development on tapestry is proposed, and how to develop and build P2P systems based on tapestry is described detailedly at last.
