Distribution Law of Flood Forecast Error for Dahuofang Reservoir

Based on the flood forecast error series for the Dahuofang Reservoir,the methods of P-III distribution,maximum entropy error distribution and P-type distribution were used to analyze the distribution law of flood forecast error,and it was suggested using particle swarm optimization algorithm to find out the optimal parameters in P-III distribution and maximum entropy error distribution parameters.The results show that the maximum entropy error distribution of four rank and P-Ⅲ distribution have better fitting experience points which P type distribution has large deviation.
