Software Design of Main/Standby Switch

An improved main/standby switch mechanism of communication system is proposed,and it is suitable for multi-mode SDR communication system.On the one hand,data synchronization and link switch is no longer the same time,data synchronization is on the pre-switching phase,thereby greatly reducing the switching time.On the other hand,SM switch(standby state switch to the main state) is before MS switch,which is not allow the case of both software standby states,to ensure that the system is main control board available in any case.And the mechanism is suitable for the future development trend of base station——multimode SDR base station communication system,and considers both normal and abnormal switching.After judging the conditions for switching,main/standby switch consists of pre-switching,SM switch and MS switch are completed to ensure fast and reliable switch.Furthermore,the mechanism will do proper treatments when switching fails.
