PREPARATION OF METALLIC Ni WITH FRACTAL STRUCTURE

A way that manufactured metallic material with fractal structure has been studied through biomimetics and fractal. Some algae with natural fractal structure were used as the basis foundations. The metal was coated on the foundations by both electroless deposition and electrode-position. After disposing of foundational algae by erosion, dissolution etc., the pure metallic material with fractal structure was obtained. The fractal dimension of the metallic material was calculated by box-counting dimension. Then specific surface area determination of Ni structure (based on BET analysis) was preformed using nitrogen adsorption.
