The characteristics,functions and composition of the system for intelligent electrical apparatus were analyzed.The working platform with information retrieval system,knowledge system for simulation and design,CAD system,simulation system,structure of data and information,and operation mechanism of knowledge were researched.The example which used the working platform for new product design was given.
