Study of seismic signal data compression algorithm based on random pulse detection

According to the characteristics of common data compression algorithms making use of pulse signals ineffectively,a new random pulse signal compression algorithm is proposed in this paper based on pulse recognition technology.And then,multi-groups seismic signal data are compressed and reconstructed on MATLAB platform.The experimental results show that the algorithms can make the effective pulse periods of pulse signals separated sufficiently and get effective compression.This compression algorithm is simple and easy to implement.
