An Approach for Interval Number Priority Weight Based on Convex-combination and Possibility Degree

Based on convex combination and possibility degree, an approach is proposed to generate interval number priority weights from an interval number complementary judgment matrix. The inconsistency and weak transitivity of a family of real complementary judgment matrices generated by interval number complementary judgment matrix are identified and their inconsistency is repaired to reach weak transitivity. Finally, a numerical example is calculated to demonstrate its feasibility and practicality.
