A De-interlacing Algorithm Based on Motion Adaptive with Median Filtering

In this paper,a new Edge-Based median filter motion-adaptive algorithm for de-interlacing is proposed based on discussing the present algorithms.To motion part,the median filtering algorithm with the most correlative direction is adopted.The simulation results show that it makes full use of the information of space and time of the video signal,and overcomes the disadvantages in traditional algorithm such as zigzag,roughness in the image and more sensitive to noise.It is also in low hardware cost and reduces the algorithm complexity.It can be easily implemented by hardware.
