Study on Integrated Monitor and Control System for Urban Rail Transit

Zhuo Wang · Journal of the China Railway Society · 2007

In order to solve the automation-island problem of the urban rail-transit monitor and control system,it is essential to establish the integrated monitor and control platform which is aimed to ensure information sharing and seamless connection among the different monitor and control sub-systems,and to ensure integrated monitor and control over the entire monitor and control system. The features and status of the sub-systems are analyzed.According to the analyses, the overall framework of the integrated monitor and control system is planned and the management pattern of the system by the centre and station levels is put forward. The basic functions of each module of the stationlevel integrated monitor and control system are described. The implementation methods and steps of the station-level integrated monitor and control system are presented by application of the technologies of data abstracting, distributed modules,XML,Meta data and interfacing for industry control.
