This paper introduces the development and application of a WEB-based and object-oriented equipment information management system,and explores the models and features of laboratory equipment management information system.The implementation process,interface design,application characteristics and prospects of this system are introduced in detail.This system can satisfy the equipment information management requirements in universities and other research institutions.With the promotion and use of this system,the cumbersome manual operations can be informationized.Consequently,the efficiency and management of laboratory instruments and equipment in universities and other research institutions can be improved.
