The Application of Radon Transform in 2D Barcode Image Recognition

The symbology of the 2D barcode DataMatrix was introduced.According to the fundament of Radon transformation,an algorithm efficient in recognizing the consecutive line segment and an algorithm efficient in recognizing the railway are proposed.By these algorithms,the black line segment and the railway in 2D barcode can be recognized rapidly and accurately,even though the minimum module of the barcode is about only 2.7 pixels in size.These algorithms can be used in QR Code,DataMatrix,Code93 and lpcode image recognition.
