Cyclic spectrum estimation of initial phase and spreading code timing epoch of DS signals

Based on the characteristics of the cyclic spectrum amplitudes and phases, a novel parameters estimation method of DS signals is presented in this paper. The initial phase of signals and the timing epoch of the spreading code can be estimated by means of the special cyclic spectrum phases. This estimation method is computationally efficient and has a high estimating accuracy. Moreover, this method needn抰 the information of the spreading code. The variances of the errors in estimation are analytically derived, which are proved by the computer simulations.
