Research on Compressing Method of Medical Images

Base on the analysis and studying to the compressing algorithmic of digital image,a method combines loss Im-age Compression with lossless image compression is proposed.The ROI used lossless compression,while the other part used loss Compression.This method has obtain the medical image of good compression quality which has tested by experi-ment,and solve the problem that the need of memory space and transfer speed.Saving plenty of medical image's memory space,increasing the transfer speed.
